I was born and raised in Southeast Türkiye (Şanlıurfa). I have been in the USA for almost six years solely for educational purposes and am preparing to travel back to Türkiye in May 2025 to start my academic career as an Assistant Professor.

I am a clinical mental health counselor and recently became a counselor educator after completing my doctoral program at Ohio University.

My specialty is in grief, loss, death, dying, and trauma. I have certification in Thanatology and am also a Trained EMDR Therapist. I am currently not accepting clients due to my heavy caseload but I may start accepting new clients in May of 2025.
