I was born and raised in Southeast Türkiye.​ I am a licensed professional clinical counselor and have a doctoral degree in counselor education and supervision from Ohio University. I have worked for over five years with young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and loss. 

​I am passionate about thanatology, the science of death, dying, and bereavement. I am also an EMDR specialist and implement this approach in my work with my clients who have experienced a traumatic event.​
